Rihanna shared on Wednesday that she is the cover star for Vogue’s November Issue. She said “So proud to be on another cover of @voguemagazine wearing my own designs from @fenty !!! On stands October 16th!”
In the issue, she covered topics like the Fenty-effect setting precedence for the new standard of shade range of foundations. The innovative deal with Amazon for her Savage x Fenty show, the importance of inclusivity and how her show destroyed Victoria Secret’s Show in the process. She also covered how she revolutionised the way we shop for luxury items with her direct to consumer LVMH-backed clothing and accessories line, Fenty.
Rihanna also talks about how she gets Balenciaga-envy. She also explains how she is the muse of her fashion house. The designs are inspired by her multifaceted personality and her all-over-the-place-ness which every woman can relate to.
Rihanna also achieved at fit with this cover making it her sixth cover with American Vogue and holding the record for the most solo American Vogue covers of any black woman in its history. She had previously graced the cover in April 2011, November 2012, March 2014, April 2016 and June 2018.
Rihanna’s Vogue November issue will hit stands October 16, 2019.
