Headbands, or some variation of it has been worn for centuries. It became mainstream in the 20s with flappers who wore feathered or bedazzled versions of them. In the 90s the padded versions of these headbands took over and they are back this season. We have seen them on personalities like Princess Kate, the duchess of Cambridge, and Pippa are fans of this trend. The Prada SS19 show brought this trend back with models wearing exaggerated puffy headbands in different prints and colours and with a few embellished ones. This trend helps with bad hair days or when you want to jazz up an outfit. There is something for everybody with this trend; whether you like something simple or love the extra pizzazz.
