Apart from the runway showcases set to take place on the 9th and 10th of November 2019, we are looking forward to the masterclasses which always serve as an avenue for fashion insiders and budding fashion enthusiasts to learn more about the fashion industry.

Kim Kimble

Kim Kimble is a celebrity hairstylist, entrepreneur and the star of America’s popular TV show, LA Hair.

Kim serves as the hairstylist for a network of A-list celebrities such as Zendaya, Taraji P. Henson, Shakira, Mary J.Blige. In 2018, she teamed up with award-winning director, Ava DuVernay, to create iconic hairstyles for the Disney film, A Wrinkle in Time. Kim’s works have been featured in Vanity Fair, Allure and Vogue, amongst others, and she has worked with fashion photographers from Gilles Bensimon to Annie Leibovitz.

Kim Kimble will be at the GTBank Fashion Weekend to share her wealth of wisdom on Super Tresses: Power Hairstyles for Every Occasion.

 

Law Roach

Law Roach, also known as the Image Architect, is one of America’s most celebrated stylists. His works have appeared in leading publications such as Vogue, Time Magazine, GQ, Billboard, New York Magazine, Notion, amongst others.

Law’s network of clients includes A-list celebrities such as Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Ariana Grande, Tom Holland, Tiffany Haddish, and many more.

In 2016 he joined the panel of judges for the hit TV show “America’s Next Top Model” and was the first African American on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter’s Most Powerful Stylists issue. Most recently, Law acted as creative director for the Tommy x Zendaya fashion line by Tommy Hilfiger, which premiered at Paris Fashion Week. He will be discussing Image Architecture in his masterclass.

 

Adesuwa Aighewi & Millen Magese

When Adesuwa Aighewi isn’t walking the runway for high fashion labels such as Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs or Chanel, she is making films or writing books and editorials. Of Nigerian, Chinese and Thai descent, Adesuwa is renowned for vocalizing the deep layers of culture, history, and societal impact embodied by the fashion industry.

In 2018, Adesuwa was named in the Dazed100, a list of the most influential people shaping youth culture. In 2019, she was named in Models.com’s “Top 50” supermodels list and was recognized as one of the leading Creatives of the “NEW WAVE” by the British Fashion Council.

Adesuwa Aighewi will be at the GTBank Fashion Weekend to demonstrate The Art of Ruling the Runway in a Masterclass facilitated by Millen Magese, veteran Supermodel and Ex-Miss Tanzania.

 

 

Natalie Kingham

Natalie is one of the most influential women in the fashion industry. The Fashion & Buying director of MATCHESFASHION, Natalie has had an incredibly diverse career in fashion. Starting out as a buyer in London before moving into styling and launching her own label in 2000.

Natalie has been central to growing the business both online and in store and has been the driving force behind the covetable list of collaborations and exclusive launches, including collections by Altuzarra, Emilia Wickstead, Ganni, Simone Rocha, Erdem and Gabriela Hearst.

Natalie Kingham will be at the GTBank Fashion Weekend to discuss The Business of Fashion Buying.

Sir John

Sir John Barnett is the makeup artist behind some of Beyonce’s most iconic looks. He is also the Co-Executive Producer and celebrity mentor on Lifetime’s Hit TV show, Beauty Star.

Sir John began his career in the beauty industry working at a MAC Cosmetics store in Atlanta. From there, Sir John worked his way up, assisting legendary makeup artists like Pat Mcgrath and Charlotte Tilbury’s during Fashion Weeks.

In 2010, Sir John became Beyonce’s personal makeup artist, working on her makeup for everything, from her album art to concert tours, including the history-making September 2018 Vogue cover and Coachella performance. In 2015, Sir John he was named ambassador and celebrity makeup artist for leading beauty brand, L’Oréal Paris.

Sir John will be at the GTBank Fashion Weekend to demonstrate The Sir John Beauty Experience.
